One of the biggest controversies at the Rio 2016 Olympics has been the defeat of Kazakhstan boxer Vasily Levit in the gold medal match of the heavyweight fight. Pretty much everyone watching the bout had pegged Levit as a comfortable winner so much in control he was and the crowd was stunned when the judges went with his Russian opponent Evgeny Tishchenko.
The crowds were so unhappy and baffled at the decisions that Evgeny Tishchenko was booed when he got up on the podium to collect his piece of gold, which no-one can actually understand how he got it.

Strangely the amount of time that he was allowed was more than is regularly allowed, but even if he was afforded extra recovery time, he was still totally outclassed and outboxed in the match.
