Royal Ascot 2017 Top Trainer and Jockey Odds – Horse Racing Betting

Paddy Power's betting without trainer and jockey favourites offers value at Royal Ascot

Horse Racing Betting

With Churchill and Order Of St George already hot favourites in the St James’s Place Stakes and Ascot Gold Cup respectively, it’s no surprise that Aidan O’Brien and Ryan Moore are short odds to be Top Trainer (a general 1/4) and Top Jockey (a general 1/3) at Royal Ascot this week. So maybe we should be looking at Paddy Power’s odds in markets without both to find a bit of value.

John Gosden is 6/5 with Paddy Power to be leading trainer without Aidan O’Brien but doesn’t have a single entry on the opening day. He’ll be hoping Laugh Aloud, in the Duke Of Cambridge Stakes, and Jack Hobbs, in the Prince Of Wales’ s Stakes, do the business on Wednesday, however,

Paddy Power are famous – or infamous – for their social media exploits and they like to invite plenty of excitement about their markets and their products – no doubt they will have something special planned for Royal Ascot! But they back up all the showmanship with a very strong product platform, one of the best in-play services around and an extensive sports book.

There is a good welcome bonus available too of £30 worth of free bets to enjoy.

When you become a new customer of Paddy Power via online-betting.me.uk you automatically receive a free £30 bet but this is only activated when you, as a new customer, place a minimum stake of £10 with minimum odds of 1.50 (1/2). When that is done, Paddy Power will give you 3 free bets of £10 each (3 x £10). This offer is only valid for new customers and the free bets will be valid for 30 days.

Any possible winnings will be displayed on the betting receipt. This will include the stake but because this is a free offer, the stake will not be returned, only the winnings. This offer can only be used on Paddy Power and only in their sportsbook; it cannot be used in any other part of the Paddy Power website.

Although Paddy Power accepts payment from Skrill/Moneybookers and Neteller they do not accept these methods of payment for this free bet offer. Terms and conditions apply, please see full details directly at Paddy Power.

I wouldn’t rule out Charlie Appleby to be Top Trainer without Aidan O’Brien at 16/1 with Paddy Power as the chief Godolphin trainer has his string seems in very good order. A good Ascot for Appleby would also be a good Ascot for William Buick as the 28-year-old Norwegian-born rider will have largely had his pick of his retainer’s horses and has also picked up a few outside rides. Buick is 7/4 to be Top Jockey at Royal Ascot without Ryan Moore.
