UKIP leader Paul Nuttall is running himself in Stoke-on-Trent Central but his press officer, Lynda Roughley, has done him no favours by claiming ‘he lost close friends’ at Hillsborough on his website. That wasn’t true, as Nuttall had to admit later though he distanced himself from the claims.
