Premier League Betting

Crucial game for both sides here in the Tottenham Hotspur v Birmingham Premier League fixture. Harry Redknapp’s Spurs are holding a one point lead over Liverpool in the race for the Europa League spot of finishing fifth. However, Spurs have been finding wins hard to come by of late, picking up just two in their last eight matches. Crucially their most recent win was a big 2-0 victory at Anfield over Liverpool. Had they have lost that, Spurs would have been out of European contention. Now it all comes down to the final game, and they just need to equal or better whatever it is that Liverpool do. To round out their season, which has fallen a little bit flat after their Champions League exit, Spurs just need one more good performance. They are at home and against a Birmingham side who are really struggling themselves. Going into the final day of the season, it genuinely looks as if the Carling Cup holders will be going down. Their form reads no win in their last five matches now and that seriously has to be looked at for your Tottenham v Birmingham betting. That is four defeats and one draw for Birmingham in their last five, and not the form to carry into trying to avoid relegation. Relegation looked a bit of a far stretch for Birmingham about six or seven weeks ago, but they just have not been able to pick up points. They are the lowest scoring team in the league as well, which won’t help their case, and having to face a top six side who need a win themselves on the final day, is not ideal circumstances for Birmingham. A point would be a huge result for Birmingham, and could be enough if other results go their way. Tottenham v Birmingham betting has to strongly go towards the home side though.
