Tottenham v Swansea Betting Preview
This should be quite the entertaining match up on Sunday. Both sides tripped up in their good form last weekend and will be looking to get back on track. Swansea have quietly improved a lot over the season and are just three points behind Spurs in the race for a top four spot in the Premier League.

Tottenham v Swansea Recommended Bet:
Despite just three points separating the two sides in the Premier League, Spurs go as strong favourites for this one, not only because of home advantage but because of a great home record against Swansea as well. Tottenham have won twelve and lost none of their last fourteen league meetings at White Hart Lane against Swansea, so pretty strong history to take into the game. However, it is likely to be a game where there is goals because Spurs have only managed to keep one clean sheet at home in the eight matches that Andre Villas-Boas has been in charge there. Spurs would be top of the Premier League this season if games were only 80 minutes long. The defence of Spurs is prone to crumbling under any decent amount of sustained pressure. Their tally of having conceded 25 goals this season after 16 matches is the third highest amount they have let in at this stage of any Premier League season, which speaks volumes. Spurs were on a good stretch of form, winning three in a row until they ran into a good side in Everton last week, which just raises questions about their potential against the top sides. Still, they have won their last two at White Hart Lane and should be favourites.

Swansea’s good form was halted by a home defeat against the in form Norwich last weekend. That was something of a surprise result given the better consistency that they had churned out recently. The away form of the Swans has improved dramatically recently, winning their last two back to back and going unbeaten in three. They can still be a bit and hit and miss at time, but Michael Laudrup has done a good job of tightening up the defence to a large degree. They blew out last week conceding three, but in their three matches prior to that, they had let in just one. Swansea have enjoyed relative success in London, winning three of their last five trips to the capital and their dangerman will be Michu, who has already matched Danny Graham’s top scoring total of 12 goals for the club last season. Swansea have the potential to make an impact in this match as they have scored at a rate of 1.4 goals per game away from home this term and have conceded at a rate of one per game. 71% of the Welsh club’s away matches have ended under 2.5 goals this season. Should be a good open, even contest and taking Swansea in a +0.75 Asian Handicap for a price of 21/20 at online bookmaker Bet365 looks good.
