This is a
simple strategy for group stages like in the
world cup or
champions league or
europa league.
It
has always worked for me in the past and also during
World Cup 2006.
Simply
choose the
most unlikely team from each group and place a
bet that this team
will qualify for the next stage.
If there are two equally 'weak' teams in a group of four then
place bets on both to reach the next stage. Sometimes in the
past you
only needed 1 of those bets to pay off to show a profit.
This system is not as good as it was in the days when everyone
wrote off the chances of smaller teams, but it
still works today.
