Manager, Steve Cotterill has stated the importance of just keeping winning, so I’m expecting a fighting performance from Birmingham tonight.
Huddersfield Town suffered a fourth defeat from their last five matches overall on Saturday when they went down to a 2-0 loss at Old Trafford against Manchester United, and this FA Cup replay may well be a hindrance rather than a boost to The Terriers as the importance of keeping key players fit for their Premier League survival must be at the front of manager David Wagner’s mind heading into this encounter.
Indeed, Huddersfield have gained just one win from their last ten matches in all competitions, which was a 2-1 win away from home at Championship strugglers, Bolton Wanderers in the third round of the FA Cup, and along with a 4-1 win at Watford in the Premier League back in mid-December, they’ve been the only highlights to speak of for the visitors on the road this season.
