The destiny of both 2.Bundesliga team 1860 Munich and 3.Liga outfit Regensburg will be decided this evening as hosts 1860 Munich will look to finish the job in the play-off second leg at their Allianz Arena.

3.Liga Regensburg were unable to make their home advantage count in last week’s 1-1 draw at their Continental Arena, and they now face a difficult challenge of keeping the hosts quiet in their own backyard as they look to overcome their 2.Bundesliga opponents on the road.
The 1-1 draw in the first leg extended their overall unbeaten stretch to four games, while their results away from home have brought the visitors an 11-match unbeaten run, so confidence is still likely to be high for Regensburg here.
But if Regensburg are to replace 1860 Munich in the 2.Bundesliga next season, they’ll have to do it the hard way, and I’m expecting tonight’s hosts to fight to the death for their German second tier status this evening.
