Aberdeen Prediction

Aberdeen have posted mixed results in recent times as the hosts have registered wins against Hibernian and St Johnstone which were both away form home, but have also fallen to losses against Rangers and Hamilton Academicals which were both inflicted upon The Dons at their Pittodrie ground.

Aberdeen have also been held to draws by St Mirren and last time out by Celtic in a 0-0 draw, but the hosts will be hoping their luck has changed with that result and they’ll grab all three points against St Johnstone in this encounter.

Home form has also dipped for The Dons who have now gone five matches without a win on home soil following defeats to Celtic, Rangers and Hamilton, along with draws against Kilmarnock and St Mirren, and their home record has been dented down to 7-3-5 27/21.

It’s a far cry from their run of eight wins from nine matches earlier in the season, but with goalscoring midfielders Mackay-Steven (4 goals) and Ferguson (5 goals) along with leading goalscorer, Cosgrove (14 goals), the hosts should have enough about them to return to winning ways here.

Key-Facts – Aberdeen v Livingston

  • Aberdeen have beaten Livingston in their last 4 meetings in the SPL
  • Livingston have failed to win any of their last 12 away matches
  • Livingston have failed to score in 9 of their 14 away matches to date

Livingston Prediction

Livingston currently occupy a place in the Relegation Round as the visitors sit in 9th place and are five points adrift of Hibernian who occupy the last remaining place for a top six finish, as they make their way to Aberdeen looking to reduce this deficit with a win here.

However, with just two wins from their last 11 matches overall in the Scottish Premiership, this looks highly unlikely as both of the wins were recorded at their Tony Macaroni Arena with victories against Kilmarnock and St Johnstone.

The visitors bring a pretty poor run of results away from home with them into this clash too as Livvy have failed to win any of their last 12 matches on the road amidst a poor away record which stands at 1-5-8 7/19.

A lack of goals on their travels have held Livingston back in this campaign as the visitors have failed to score in 9 of their 14 away matches to date, and although Aberdeen have shown some ordinary form of late themselves, Livingston’s shyness in front of goal could be costly here.

Betting Tips Verdict

Aberdeen have been ordinary in recent weeks but they won’t get a better chance than today to return to winning ways against a poor travelling Livingston outfit at Pittodrie.
