A top six clash is up next in the Italian top flight with 4th placed AC Milan taking on 6th placed Torino as the betting tips continue in Serie A on Sunday evening.
AC Milan have lost just once in their last six matches in Serie A which was a 2-0 loss at home to runaway league leaders Juventus who seem to be on a higher plane than the rest of the division, but recent wins over lesser mortals such as Sampdoria, Genoa, Udinese and Parma have kept Gennaro Gattuso’s side in the hunt for a European place later in the season.
The hosts also possess a pretty solid looking home record of 5-1-1 14/10 which includes four wins from their last five on home turf.
As well as a good start domestically, AC Milan are also on the verge of progressing through to the next stage of the Europa League. Forwards Higuain (5 goals), Suso (4 goals) and Cutrone (3 goals) look the most likely for the home side.
Torino probably won’t mind going on the road this Sunday evening as they actually possess a far better record on their travels than at their Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino so far this season as they still remain unbeaten away from home in Serie A.
The visitors however, have lost three matches already at home, but they did manage to pick up all three points with a 2-1 win over Genoa last time out on home turf. An away record of 2-5-0 10/6 suggests that Torino may be happy with a point here, and look a stubborn unit to break down.
However, of their seven away matches to date, Torino have only played Inter Milan out of the top six in Serie A which ended in a 2-2 draw, but they’ll be tested against AC Milan this evening I’m sure.
