With Accrington Stanley’s away match at Newport County being postponed on the weekend due to bad weather, they now have a chance to add to their points tally on Tuesday night with a home match against fourth from bottom club, Morecambe.

Morecambe’s game against Colchester United was also called off on the weekend, so they face another away trip to a top three side on Tuesday night, and their confidence may well have risen as The Shrimpers have lost just once in their last five on the road.
Prior to their last five away from home, Morecambe had managed just one win from 12 matches on their travels, and an away record of 3-7-7 17/22 still requires a lot more attention, and suggests that a point at Accrington is perhaps their most realistic chance of taking something away here.
