League One/Two Tips

ACCRINGTON STANLEY v SWINDON TOWN

Saturday 9th December 2017 – Kickoff: 1500hrs

Football – England – League Two Betting Tips

Onto League Two, and Accrington Stanley will be wanting to hold onto their automatic promotion spot on Saturday afternoon when they take on 8th placed Swindon Town at their Wham Stadium.

Having suffered recent back-to-back defeats away from home in recent times following a 2-0 loss at high-flying Exeter city in the league and a 3-2 loss at Lincoln City in the Football Trophy, Stanley will no doubt be looking forward to home advantage again, especially as they’ve won three of their last four on home turf.

Wins over Coventry City, Barnet and Wycombe Wanderers have helped lift John Coleman’s side into one of the automatic promotion spots, and with a fairly solid home record of  6-2-2  17/9 behind them, and the likes of Kee (10 goals) and Jackson (7 goals) up front, they should do well here.

Visitors Swindon Town have had a reasonable start to their League Two campaign as they sit in 8th  place and on the fringes of the play-off pack ahead of their trip up north to Accrington this Saturday. Indeed, The Robins are level on points with play-off pack incumbents Mansfield Town and Coventry City, so there’s plenty of incentive to get a result in this one.

Swindon come into this encounter on the back of two straight defeats to Grimsby Town and Newport County, but they’ve won the most away games so far in this League Two season amidst an overall record of  7-0-3  19/9.

Forwards Norris (8 goals) and Anderson (4 goals) should also cause Accrington’s defence some problems as they look to break into the play-off pack.
