League One/Two Tips

ACCRINGTON STANLEY v LEYTON ORIENT

Friday 25th March 2016 – Kickoff: 1500hrs

Football – England – League Two Betting Tips

Next up is a top half clash in League Two between fifth placed Accrington Stanley and seventh placed Leyton Orient at the Store First Stadium on Good Friday between two teams that have serious promotion ambitions.

Looking at Accrington first, and they have made impressive progress under the guidance of manager John Coleman since his appointment midway through last season, as he has turned them from a battling bottom half outfit into serious promotion candidates.

Just two defeats from their last 11 matches overall in League Two underlines their current form, along with a home record of  9-6-3  36/27 but it’s interesting to note that both teams have scored in 16 of Accrington’s 18 home matches to date this season. Striker Billy Kee (16 goals) is their leading goalscorer.

Visitors Leyton Orient have also been in good form recently having secured back-to-back League Two wins over Oxford United and Morecambe respectively as they make their way up north for this important Good Friday clash.

The O’s have lost just once in their last six overall, while their away record reads a rather resilient-looking  7-7-4  25/24 and they’ve won four of their last five on their travels following wins at Wycombe Wanderers, Portsmouth, Notts County and Oxford United.

Both teams have scored in 12 of Leyton Orient’s 18 away matches, with O’s former Hull City striker Jay Simpson (23 goals) enjoying prolific goalscoring form for the visitors since his free transfer from Buriram United.
