Aldershot Town will be looking to return to winning ways on Saturday afternoon when they play host to second from bottom Solihull Moors at their Recreation Ground, following a run of four league matches without a win for the Hampshire outfit.
The Shots seem to have lost their early momentum which saw them win their first three league matches on the trot in the National League, but it should be noted that three of their last four matches have been away from home; these have resulted in draws at Maidstone United and Eastleigh as well as defeat at Boreham Wood.
But their home record reads a more healthy looking 2-0-1 10/4 with wins gained over struggling Torquay United and Guiseley, and another league struggler in the shape of Solihull Moors visit here this afternoon…
Onto Solihull Moors then, and they suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to Tranmere Rovers during the week which has dropped them into the bottom four of the non-league top flight, with a difficult looking fixture ahead of them this weekend.
Solihull have gained just one league win from these first few weeks of the season, which was a 2-1 win away at fellow strugglers Torquay United, but this has been their only success from their last seven matches overall.
Away form has been sporadic for the midlands outfit, and their last visit to the Recreation Ground ended in a 2-0 defeat back in October last year, so it looks likely we could see a similar scoreline unfold here today.
