Armenia Prediction – Can Armenia slow Italy down?
After a poor stat to their Euro 2020 campaign which saw the hosts lose their first two matches on the trot in Group J, Armenia have since bounced back to record impressive wins against Liechtenstein 3-0 at home and a notable 3-2 win away at Greece last time out.
Early group defeats to Bosnia-Herzegovina 2-1 away from home and a 2-0 loss on home turf to Finland threatened to de-rail Armenia’s hopes of a top two finish in the group, but with their recent back-to-back wins, Thursday night’s hosts are now within 3 points of 2nd placed Finland prior to this clash with Italy.
The away win at Greece will certainly have given Armenia a much needed boost, but whether they can cause another upset against Italy remains to be seen – even with home advantage behind them, Armenia look to be up against it here.

Italy Prediction – Can Italy retain top spot in Group J?
The visitors bring an excellent 8-match unbeaten sequence in all competitions into this important Euro 2020 qualifier in Armenia on Thursday night and Italy manager, Roberto Mancini, will be hoping his side can further ad to their points tally here in order to remain top of Group J.
Recent previous qualification for major tournaments has been far from guaranteed for Italy who have had to endure a slump on the international stage, but under Mancini, the revival of their fortunes appears to be well underway as they sit top of Group J with a 100% record.
The Italian have won all 4 of their group matches to date with victories over Finland 2-0, Liechtenstein 6-0, Greece 3-0 and Bosnia-Herzegovina 2-1, although it must be noted that 3 of these first 4 group matches were played on home soil with the exception of the 3-0 win in Greece.
