On a positive note, it’s also just one defeat from their last six matches, which includes wins against Leicester City and Everton, but Saints manager, Ralph Hasenhuttl will be demanding a much better performance this time around than their last showing against Cardiff.
Southampton have registered just five wins all season to date, three of which have come away from home amidst an overall record of 3-3-7 13/23 which at first glance doesn’t appear to be too hot, but the visitors are unbeaten in their last four away matches.
Two wind and two draws means that Southampton have earned 8 points from the last possible 12 on offer on the road which is a pretty impressive points haul considering their current predicament.
