After three straight wins moved them two points ahead of Tottenham in the battle for fourth place, Arsenal could potentially increase that gap to five by the end of this weekend. The Gunners have won each of their last four Premier League home games against Leeds – three of them ‘to nil’ – and another on Sunday could see them gain further ground on their rivals, who face Liverpool at Anfield 24 hours earlier.

While a first loss in six (W3 D2 L1) – to an imperious Man City no less – wouldn’t ordinarily lead to panic stations, the Whites are suddenly looking over their shoulder with a nervous glance.
