Arsenal Preview – Will Gunners record a fourth straight league win for the first time since 2018?
It’s been a dramatic couple of weeks for Arsenal since football returned. The lows of a heavy defeat away to Manchester City followed by a dismal loss at Brighton seems a long time ago now. The Gunners have since won three straight in the league without conceding a goal and have progressed to the semi-final of the FA Cup. Arsenal’s home form has been the strongest aspect of their campaign by some distance. They are unbeaten at the Emirates in 2020 with five wins and one draw. With Liverpool and Watford to visit here after Leicester, they have some big tests to come before the end of the season.
Leicester City Preview – Can Leicester build on last time out win to cement their place in top four?
Brendan Rodgers will still be feeling relieved following his team’s win at the weekend. The 3-0 success against Crystal Palace was the first victory for Leicester since beating Aston Villa pre-lockdown. Two points from their first three matches back meant that they were coming back to the chasing pack for a top four finish. As it stands, the Foxes remain three points ahead of Manchester United in fifth.
Depending on the outcome of Manchester City’s appeal to UEFA it could well be fifth place is enough to qualify for the Champions League but Rodgers will want to guarantee their participation.

Jamie Vardy would have been delighted with the result over Palace on a personal level as well as helping his team earn three points. His two goals brought an end to four game run without scoring and keeps him top of the charts in the race for the golden boot. It also further emphasises how closely linked his contribution is to Leicester doing well as a team.
Now on 21 goals, Vardy has a chance again of bettering his best every tally which were the 24 he netted in Leicester’s title-winning season back in 2015/16.
