Rotherham United collected their third win of the new Championship season on Saturday afternoon when they edged a 1-0 home win over a disappointing Derby County outfit at their New York Stadium.
Despite additional home wins over Ipswich Town and Millwall it’s perhaps indicative as to how Rotherham United’s season will unfold as all three league wins to date have been recorded at home while results away from home continue to elude the south Yorkshire club.
The Millers have lost all three of their matches on their travels so far this season with defeats at Brentford, Leeds United and Wigan Athletic, amidst a poor starting away record of 0-0-3 1/8 and manager Paul Warne knows they must make a better fist of things on the road this term if they’re to consolidate their position in the Championship.
It’s now a staggering 28 away matches without a win for Rotherham at this level, an atrocious run which has seen them lose 25 of these!
