Augsburg were held to an entertaining 3-3 draw with Freiburg at their WWK Arena last time out in the German Bundesliga, and the German season resumes this weekend with Augsburg once again on home turf when they take on struggling Hamburg this Saturday.

Hamburg sit in the bottom two of the Bundesliga although they hold a nine point lead over bottom club, Cologne, and are level on points with third from bottom club, Werder Bremen prior to the resumption of the domestic season.
Hamburg are without a league win from their last four matches as they’ve drawn with Freiburg and Wolfsburg in 0-0 stalemates, whilst also losing 2-1 against Eintracht Frankfurt and 3-1 away at Borussia Moenchengladbach, and with a poor away record of 1-1-6 7/16 so far, they look to be up against it here.
The visitors have lost six of their last seven on the road, and their solitary win on their travels came in a 3-1 win away at bottom club Cologne back in August last year.
