The signing of the experienced Mick McCarthy could be a very shrewd move by the club. The 61-year-old knows the Championship inside out, guiding Sunderland and Wolverhampton Wanderers to the title in 2005 and 2009, respectively. He also had a successful spell with Republic of Ireland recently.
