Football – England – National League Betting Tips

Barrow will be looking to register a third successive home win on Tuesday night when they take on Wrexham at their Furness Building Society Stadium, and all three points this evening could lift Barrow back into the frame for a possible play-off place.

Barrow have recorded back-to-back home wins over third placed Tranmere Rovers and fourth placed Dagenham & Redbridge in recent weeks on home turf which are good wins indeed, while their overall home record stands at a solid 11-6-2 32/13 this season.

The Cumbrian outfit are unbeaten in their last four on home soil and have lost just once in their last six, which was to high-flying Forest Green Rovers, but they have showed resilience against the teams in the top half of the National League so far with a record of 5-3-1 14/6 at home to date.

Visitors Wrexham sit just two league positions but nine points adrift of this evening’s hosts Barrow as they make the long trip up to the north east in midweek. Their task is made that much harder following back-to-back defeats to Gateshead (at home) and Saturday’s 3-0 heavy defeat away at Forest Green Rovers.

Wrexham’s home record is usually pretty solid at their Racecourse Ground and this has again been the case this term as The Dragons have collected 10 wins on home soil so far this season, but their results on the road continue to disappoint.

An away record of 4-6-9 16/30 has prevented them from making a serious challenge for the play-offs, while their record away at top half opposition also reflects their problems of keeping pace with the better sides as it stands at 2-2-5 6/15.

I’ll give the quarter-ball on the hosts Barrow in this one.
