Having lost 3-0 at home to Bristol City, a result which seemingly condemned Birmingham City to possible relegation and a place in the bottom three of the Championship, Blues have since staged a recovery under new manager, Lee Bowyer, as the hosts now sit in 21st place but hold an even more important seven-point cushion over third from bottom side, Rotherham United.
