Although Blackburn Rovers sit in the relative comfort of 15th place in the Championship and 11 points above the relegation zone, on a personal note this must surely be a ‘must-win’ game for Blackburn manager, Tony Mowbray, after seeing his side lose 1-0 away at relegation candidates, Wycombe Wanderers on Good Friday.
Not only that, Rovers have now managed to register just one win out of their last 13 matches overall, a miserable run of results which include eight defeats and their one success being a 2-0 win away from home at Millwall back in early March.

After losing their way during January and early February following four defeats in a miserable five-match spell, Bournemouth have since managed to claw their way back into contention for a possible top six finish and a place in the play-offs after recording back-to-back wins against Swansea City and Middlesbrough.
In an improved sequence of results, The Cherries have lost just three of their last 11 matches overall with only one of these losses being incurred on their travels and where Bournemouth have recently picked up a 2-1 win away at Bristol City and picked up a point in a 1-1 draw at Preston NE.
Bournemouth know that a win at Ewood Park may be enough to send the south coast club back into the play-off pack against a seemingly disinterested Blackburn outfit.
