Blackburn Rovers have made a good start to their season, winning two of their opening three in the Championship. Rovers started their 2020-21 campaign with a 3-2 Carabao Cup victory over Doncaster Rovers. Cardiff have made a poor start to this campaign, though. After falling to a heavy 3-0 defeat at Northampton Town in the first round of the EFL Cup, City got their Championship season going with a poor 2-0 home loss to Sheffield Wednesday. However, two Kieffer Moore goals gave them a 2-0 win at Nottingham Forest on matchday two.

Last weekend at the Cardiff City Stadium, Harris’ boys were beaten again. This time, in-form Reading left the Welsh capital with a 2-1 victory and all three points. Saturday’s game at Ewood Park will be another tough one for the Bluebirds.
