Blackburn Rovers Preview – Mowbray’s men to extend unbeaten run to four?
Ahead of this round of Championship fixtures, Blackburn Rovers are still very much in the mix for promotion. Tony Mowbray’s troops have gone under the radar this season, but their promotion rivals are starting to take notice, as Rovers are just five points adrift of sixth in eighth place.
Blackburn nearly picked up a huge win at Brentford last week. Rovers were superb for an hour, but the Bees struck back with two late goals to draw 2-2. Prior to that one, Blackburn had picked up back-to-back wins, beating Hull City 3-0 at Ewood Park and Charlton Athletic 2-0 at The Valley.

Stoke City put in an excellent performance against play-off chasing Cardiff City last weekend. A Callum Paterson own goal put them a goal up after 25 minutes, with Joe Allen bundling in a second with 18 minutes to go. In the end, the Potters ran out comfortable and deserved 2-0 winners over the Bluebirds.
