Blackpool Preview – Can Pool build on last weekend’s win?
After winning promotion via the EFL League One play-offs last season, Blackpool have found life back in the Championship challenging so far. They failed to win any of their opening five, losing three and drawing two.
However, Blackpool pulled off one of the shock results of the season so far, beating title favourites Fulham at Bloomfield Road last weekend. They were the big underdogs before the game, but Josh Bowler’s goal four minutes into the second half gave them a much-needed 1-0 win.

Along with a few others, Carlos Corberan’s Huddersfield Town have been one of the surprise packages in the Championship so far this season. Tipped for a season of struggle before a ball was kicked, the Terriers picked up just one point from their opening two. However, they have bounced back with three wins from four.
After a heavy 5-1 home loss to Fulham, Huddersfield went on a three-game winning streak in the Championship, seeing off Preston North End, Sheffield United and Reading. Unfortunately for Corberan’s men, they were narrowly beaten by Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium last time out.
