Football – England – National League Betting Tips
The National League started the new season on the weekend, and Tuesday night brings us a full slate of midweek fixtures for the first time in this new term of the English non-league top tier, with my next preview featuring Boreham Wood taking on Dagenham & Redbridge at Meadow Park.
Boreham Wood finished in a creditable mid-table position in last season’s National League campaign, although far too many inconsistent displays cost them a position further up the league ladder, with their home record being a prime example; 8-7-8 23/21 smacks of indifferent performances.
But hope springs eternal, and they finished last season with a 2-0 win away at Chester, while they started this new campaign with a point in a 2-2 draw at newly promoted Fylde. Bear in mind though, Boreham Wood have lost their last three home matches on the trot…
Onto visitors Dagenham & Redbridge, and they inflicted one of those three defeats upon Boreham Wood in their last outing to Meadow Park which ended up a 3-1 win for The Daggers, and I daresay the visitors will be hoping of a repeat of that result here this evening.
Dagenham will once again be regarded as one of the serious contenders for at least a play-off place, if not automatic promotion this term, and they’ll be keen to go a step better this time around following last season’s fourth place finish, but losing out to Forest Green Rovers in the play-off semi-finals, with Forest Green eventually being promoted up to League Two.
But prior to their play-off semi-final defeat at Forest Green, The Daggers registered three straight wins on the road at Macclesfield Town, Boreham Wood and Wrexham.
I believe there’s enough value to back Dagenham with the draw no bet option here.
Pick: Dagenham AH0 @ 1.89 Bet Victor
