Football – England – Premier League Betting Tips

Friday night football returns in the way of Premier League action with a south-coast clash between Bournemouth and Brighton at the Vitality Stadium with both teams looking for a welcome three points in their quest to gain as many early points in the season as possible.

None more so than Bournemouth as they’ve lost all four league matches so far in this new campaign, and scoring just a single goal more than their fellow strugglers, Crystal Palace who sacked manager Frank de Boer earlier this week – but that’s another story.

Defeats to West Brom, Watford, Manchester City and Arsenal have left The Cherries second from bottom and level on zero points with bottom club Crystal Palace. In fact, Bournemouth have managed just one win so far this season and that was a League Cup win at Birmingham City. However, Eddie Howe’s men have a great chance to register their first points of the Premier League season when they welcome new-boys, Brighton tonight.

Visitors Brighton registered their first Premier League win in their footballing history last weekend when they recorded a well deserved 3-1 home win against West Brom at their AMEX Stadium, so Chris Hughton’s side will be confident that they can grab something along the south coast in Bournemouth on Friday night.

A huge collective sigh of relief could be sensed among The Seagulls’ fans as their side got off the mark, but it’ll be their away form and results that will be pivotal in shaping how their season in the top flight fares this season, I fancy.

Brighton suffered a 2-0 defeat at Leicester City in their first away match of the new season, but bounced back with a solid point away at Watford in a 0-0 draw.

But I’ll give the nod to Bournemouth here as I fancy evergreen striker, Jermaine Defoe to notch his first goal of the season here.
