This weekend sees the return of the Premier League following a brief hiatus due to the international break, but we’re back in full swing on Sunday with Bournemouth taking on Everton as the betting tips continue at the Vitality Stadium.

Bournemouth Prediction – Can Bournemouth avoid third defeat on trot?

After making a solid start to their new Premier League campaign which saw Bournemouth take 4 points from their first two matches of the new top flight season, Eddie Howe’s side will welcome Everton to the Vitality Stadium looking to avoid a third defeat on the bounce.

Bournemouth faced two of the three newly promoted clubs from the Championship in their opening two matches of the season and they gained a point in a 1-1 draw with Sheffield united at home before grabbing all three points in a 2-1 win at Villa Park against Aston Villa to give The Cherries a good start.

However, back-to-back defeats to Premier League title winners past and present, Manchester City and Leicester City, have left Bournemouth sitting in the lower reaches of the division, so they’ll no doubt be keen to exploit Everton’s winless start on the road.

The only thing is, Bournemouth have yet to win at home, but the one thing we can rely on is goals and all four of Bournemouth’s matches have seen both teams score, while 5 of Bournemouth’s last 8 home matches have also seen the same outcome.

Everton Prediction – Can Chelsea extend unbeaten run?

Sunday afternoon’s visitors, Everton, have made a more promising start to this new Premier League campaign as they possess a 100% winning record at Goodison Park having registered back-to-back home wins against Watford 1-0 and a 3-2 win over Wolves, which will keep the Everton faithful happy for a while.

Results away from home though haven’t been as favourable for The Toffees as they’ve taken just 1 point from their two opening matches on their travels, thanks to a 0-0 draw away at Selhurst Park against Crystal Palace, but in their next trip, the merseyside club were handed a 2-0 loss at newly promoted Aston Villa.

Gaining results overall on the road for Everton has been a challenge for Toffees manager, Marco Silva, as his side have collected just 4 wins out of their last 17 matches on their travels – 2 of which were recorded against teams that went on to be relegated (Huddersfield Town and Cardiff City).

This may all change on Sunday though as Everton will face an injury-hit Bournemouth side, and The Toffees will also fancy their chances of getting something from this trip.

Betting Tips Verdict
