Bournemouth Preview – Cherries to extend unbeaten run?

Bournemouth currently occupy the final play-off spot in the Championship. The Cherries have had a mixed bag of results this season, picking up 12 wins, suffering seven defeats and drawing ten times.

The Bournemouth board sacked Jason Tindall after a 2-1 home loss to Sheffield Wednesday at the start of the month, which was the club’s fourth Championship reverse on the spin. However, under interim boss Jonathan Woodgate, Bournemouth have beaten Birmingham City and drawn with Nottingham Forest. They also beat Premier League Burnley away from home in the Emirates FA Cup.

Our betting prediction:
Both teams to score

Bournemouth will be desperate to keep their momentum going with three points on Wednesday. With the chasing pack hot on their heels, victory in this one will ease some of the pressure. The bookies have the home win priced at 3/4.

Rotherham United Preview – Millers’ winning away run to come to an end?

Paul Warne’s Rotherham United are certainly showing signs of life. The Millers have won four of their last seven in the Championship, seeing off the likes of Derby County (twice), Middlesbrough and Preston North End.

Rotherham are in stunning form away from the New York Stadium. Since losing seven away league games on the bounce, United have picked up three consecutive away victories, winning at Derby, Middlesbrough and Preston.

Rotherham’s recent form has lifted them out of the bottom three. The Millers are in 21st place with 29 points to their name, and the Yorkshire outfit have games in hand on their relegation rivals.

Rotherham head to the Vitality in high spirits, with the bookies pricing them at 7/2 to return home with all three points. However, Wednesday’s fixture will no doubt be a tough one.

Bournemouth vs Rotherham United Betting Advice

These two teams played out a four-goal thriller at the New York Stadium back in November. Junior Stanislas opened the scoring from the spot, but two Freddie Lapado goals put the Millers in front. Just after the hour mark, Dominic Solanke scored the final goal of the game.

Bournemouth have a good recent record in this fixture, winning four and drawing two of the last six league and cup meetings. The Millers’ last victory over the Cherries was back in January 2009 at old Millmoor.

Key Facts – Bournemouth vs Rotherham United Betting Tip
