Wednesday night brings us further action from the French top flight and our next preview features the clash between Brest and Lyon as the betting tips continue in Ligue 1 at the Stade Francis-Le Blé.
Brest Prediction – Can Brest remain unbeaten at home?
Wednesday night’s hosts, Stade Brest, have made a solid, if uninspiring, start to their new Ligue 1 campaign as they’ve suffered just 1 defeat from their first 6 matches of the new French top flight season, that being a heavy 3-0 loss away at Nimes.

Visitors, Lyon, have made a slow start to their new Ligue 1 campaign as they occupy a disappointing 9th place in the domestic top flight and make their way to Brest on the back of 4 league matches without a win.
Recent results have seen Lyon held to frustrating draws with Bordeaux 1-1 and Amiens 2-2 while also suffering defeats to Montpellier and PSG, leaving Wednesday night’s visitors 4 points adrift of 4th placed Nice and the last European spot in Ligue 1.
Lyon have won, drawn and lost in equal measure in both their home and away matches so far this season as they’ve struggled to put any kind of run of results together so far this term, and although they started their season in positive fashion on the road with a 3-0 win at Monaco, the results have dropped off since then.
A 1-0 loss at Montpellier was followed by a 2-2 draw at Amiens, and having failed to beat Stade Brest in each of their previous three meetings away from home, this could be yet another frustrating evening for Lyon.
