Brighton take on Watford as the betting tips continue at the AMEX Stadium where the hosts will be desperate to break out of a four-match run without a league win. Can Watford inflict a fourth straight defeat on the hosts here?

Premier League Betting at Comeon

Brighton Prediction

Brighton sit in 13th place on the Premier League ladder and hold a seven point cushion ahea dof the bottom three in what has been another successful and solid season for The Seagulls whose number one priority is Premiership survival.

However, a run of four league matches without a win which includes three straight defeats to Liverpool, Manchester United and Fulham, the latter being a particularly damaging result as Brighton held a 2-0 lead at Craven Cottage before eventually losing 4-2.

The visit of Watford at the AMEX Stadium this Saturday afternoon represents a good opportunity for Brighton to bounce back but with mixed results in recent weeks which has seen the hosts record wins over Crystal Palace and Everton, but also defeats to Chelsea and Liverpool, there’s no guarantees of three points here.

Brighton hold a fairly solid home record of 5-3-3 15/12 with striker Murray (10 goals) their leading goalscorer.

Key-Facts – Brighton v Watford

  • Brighton have lost 3 of their last 4 in the Premier League
  • Watford have lost just 1 of their last 5 matches away from home in the EPL
  • Watford ran out 2-0 winners in their last meeting with Brighton

Watford Prediction

Watford head into this encounter on the south coast having also thrown a lead away as they were 1-0 up away at Tottenham in midweek but conceded two goals in the space of 10 minutes to end up losing 2-1 which would have frustrated manager Javi Gracia as he saw his side also lose their previous six-match unbeaten run.

Prior to that result, Watford had also gone unbeaten in their last four matches in the top flight which included points picked up against Newcastle United, Bournemouth and Burnley along with a 2-1 win away at Crystal Palace.

Although Watford hold an inconsistent record away from home which stands at 4-4-4 17/16, The Hornets have lost just once in their last five matches on their travels, and they should have enough quality in their ranks to at least avoid defeat at Brighton on Saturday.

Midfielder Pereyra (6 goals) along with forwards Deeney (5 goals), Deulofeu (3 goals) and Gray (3 goals) should keep them in the game here.

Betting Tips Verdict

Brighton have been pretty solid at home but Watford also bring a good recent set of away results into this clash.
