Brighton Prediction – Can Brighton record back-to-back wins?

The south coast side got their new Premier League campaign off to an impressive start under new manager, Graham Potter, as Brighton registered all three points in a somewhat surprising 3-0 win away at Watford, and they return to their AMEX Stadium this Saturday afternoon for their first home match of the season.

Brighton continued the encouraging work that they did over the summer months in their pre-season friendlies which resulted in The Seagulls winning 4 of their 5 warm-up matches with wins against Liefering, Crawley Town, Birmingham City and Valencia.

New manager, Graham Potter, was brought in from Swansea City to replace former boss, Chris Hughton, as the club wanted a change of direction after Brighton had come dangerously close to relegation at the end of last season.

In addition, The Seagulls wanted a more attractive and attacking style of play, and if last Saturday was anything to go by then Brighton fans are in for a real treat as the south coast outfit scored 3 on the road in the league for the first time since October 2017 – in a 3-0 win away at West Ham!

West Ham Prediction – Can West Ham bounce back?

The London club found themselves on the end of a 5-0 thrashing from the defending Premier League title holders, Manchester City, last weekend and to make matters worse, the heavy defeat was handed out to them at their London Stadium.

Still, at least West Ham won’t have to face Manchester City again until early February which will be a relief for all concerned at the club, but they do face a tricky trip down to the south coast for this Saturday’s clash against a seemingly resurgent Brighton outfit.

West Ham will be hoping they can quickly revert back to the kind of form that they finished last season’s Premier League campaign with as The Hammers ended their season with a 4-match unbeaten run which finished things off on a positive note.

3 wins from their last 4 matches of the top flight season resulted in wins against Tottenham, Southampton and Watford along with a point against Leicester City in a 2-2 draw, so manager, Manuel Pellegrini, will be demanding more of his side this weekend.

Forwards, new signing Haller and Mexican striker, Hernandez, look to be vying for the starting position up front while midfielders Wilshere, Lanzini and Antonio will look to create that spark from midfield.
