With six defeats from these last 11 matches, The Owls have slipped down the Championship table to a disappointing 15th place which is in stark contrast to their lofty league position of 3rd place just before Christmas, having won four of their six matches played between end of November and two days before Christmas Day.
The wheels have fallen off Wednesday’s season in emphatic fashion then, and another defeat in the west country this Sunday could see manager Garry Monk edging towards the exit door, and the prospects of an away win here seem remote.
