Wolves represent the ‘best of the rest’ outside of the Big 6 as the west midlands club occupy an excellent 7th place on the top flight ladder and have enjoyed a very successful campaign in their return to the Premier League under manager, Nuno Espirito Santos this term.
Lately though, Wolves have been involved in a number of draws within a sequence which has seen the visitors suffer just one defeat out of their last eight matches overall in the Premier League, which was a surprise 1-0 defeat away at relegation-bound, Huddersfield Town.
Draws against Newcastle United, Bournemouth and Chelsea have prevented Wolves from making 7th place their own though, and with just three away wins from their last seven matches on their travels, they may be vulnerable at Burnley again on Saturday afternoon.
An away record of 5-5-5 16/17 includes defeats at teams sitting in the lower regions of the division, namely, Brighton, Cardiff City and Huddersfield Town, and they’ll be facing another team fighting for their Premier League lives in the shape of Burnley here.
