Vincent Kompany’s Burnley and Shota Arveladze’s Hull City square off in EFL Championship action at Turf Moor this Tuesday. After suffering their first reverse of the campaign at Watford last time out, the Clarets will be looking to get back to winning ways in this one. Burnley Preview – Can the Clarets get back to winning ways?

Burnley will be gunning for an instant return to the Premier League after their six-year stay came to an end last term. However, they have had a mixed start back in the Championship, winning one, drawing one and losing one of three.

Burnley kicked off the 2022-23 Championship season with a solid 1-0 win at Huddersfield Town, with Ian Maatsen scoring the only goal of the game. On matchday two, the Clarets were held to a 1-1 draw by Luton Town at Turf Moor.

In their last one, Burnley crashed to a narrow defeat to fellow promotion hopefuls Watford at Vicarage Road. After no wins in two, Vincent Kompany’s troops will be eager to get back to winning ways on Tuesday. The home team are the bookies’ favourites at 4/7.

Hull City Preview – Tigers to leave Turf Moor pointless?

Hull City have started the season well, collecting seven points from a possible nine. Only Blackburn Rovers, who have a 100% record, have taken more points than the Tigers. Can they keep it up with a positive result at Burnley this Tuesday?

Hull came from behind to see off Bristol City at the MKM Stadium in game one before drawing 0-0 with Preston North End on matchday two. After a loss to Bradford City in the first round of the EFL Cup, City bounced back with a league success over Norwich City last Saturday.
