Barring a catastrophic final day, Neil Harris’ Cardiff City will be participating in the Championship play-offs. The Bluebirds are three points above rivals Swansea City, who take on Reading at the Madejski Stadium on Wednesday.
Cardiff navigated through a tricky test at Middlesbrough with flying colours last weekend. Neil Warnock’s Boro hardly had a sniff, as City cruised to a 3-1 win at the Riverside Stadium. An early Sean Morrison header sent them on their way, with Josh Murphy coming off the bench to grab a brace.
Cardiff are in very good form at the moment, with the Welsh club winning six of their last nine in the Championship. Since a shock 6-1 defeat at Queens Park Rangers on New Year’s Day, the Bluebirds have been beaten just four times in league action.
Cardiff are not an easy nut to crack at the Cardiff City Stadium. In fact, only Bristol City, Nottingham Forest and Blackburn Rovers have won on their patch in the Championship this term. No side have lost fewer home matches in the second tier, either.

Grant McCann’s Hull City have been on a horrific run of form since the turn of the year. The Tigers’ recent victory over Middlesbrough was their first Championship success since beating Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 at Hillsborough on New Year’s Day.
Since that win at Wednesday, Hull have taken a pitiful six points from a possible 57. Hull failed to build on that victory over Boro at the beginning of the month, going on to lose each of their following five.

Having lost 8-0 at Wigan Athletic, last weekend’s 1-0 home loss to fellow strugglers Luton Town has all but confirmed their relegation to EFL League One. Hull need a miracle on the final day to turn things around.
Hull have been poor away from home all season. Despite picking up a respectable five victories, McCann’s men have lost half of their 22 away league fixtures.
