Carlisle United will be keen to maintain their unbeaten start to their new League Two season when they entertain an out-of-sorts Accrington Stanley unit at Brunton Park on Saturday afternoon, and indeed, three points today could see them jump into an early automatic promotion spot.

Visitors Accrington Stanley haven’t enjoyed the best of starts in this new League Two season as they sit fifth from bottom in the English fourth tier having lost three of their last four matches overall; defeats to Barnet, Exeter City and Morecambe have resulted in John Coleman’s side residing in the bottom reaches of the division.
Accrington are without an away win to date in this new term with a record of 0-1-1 1/3 on the back of a 2-0 loss at Barnet although they did improve at their last trip away at Wycombe Wanderers as they earned a point in a 2-2 draw.
The danger men up front are strikers Kee, McConville and Gornell, but if Carlisle can keep them quiet they’ll go a long way to securing the points here today i feel.
