Well, this looks like a straightforward open and shut case as Sheffield United take on struggling Scunthorpe United at Bramall Lane on Sunday.
The Blades will be looking to extend their unbeaten stretch at home to twelve games that includes impressive wins over Reading 3-0, Bristol City 2-0 and Blackpool 3-0.
They also know where the goal is as they’ve scored 8 goals in their last three home matches, and a win here will keep them on track for a possible play-off berth.
Their home record is also good 10-7-2 34/19, with striker Darius Henderson (12goals,1assist) leading the scoring charts and enjoying the kind of form he displayed previously in his Watford days. He’s backed up by fellow strikers Richard Cresswell (8goals) and Jamie Ward (7goals,4assists), along with Ched Evans (3goals,4assists). Indeed there are many areas from where they can be dangerous, and Scunthorpe really have their work cut out to get anything from this match.

Onto Scunthorpe United then; they have now suffered five straight away losses in a miserable sequence where they have scored only two goals – 0-2 at West Brom, 1-5 at Leicester City, 1-2 at Coventry City, 0-1 at Ipswich Town and 0-3 at Newcastle United.
Their last away victory was at QPR 1-0 back in January and it’s hard to see them breaking this trend at Bramall Lane.
The Irons’ away form reads an unimpressive 3-3-13 16/42 and they have conceded the most away goals in the Championship to date.
They do, however, possess striker Gary Hooper (12goals,5assists) and he has the ability to be a matchwinner on his day. Fellow forward Paul Hayes (7goals,8assists) also needs to be watched.

I’m confident though that Sheffield United have the momentum going into this match, and they should record another home win to send the Sheffield faithful home contented.
