Charlton Athletic return to The Valley for this Saturday’s clash with Doncaster Rovers as the hosts look to build upon last week’s promising 3-1 win away at Fleetwood Town which lifted the south-east London club into sixth spot.

Visitors Doncaster Rovers also come into Saturday’s clash on the back of a win as they trounced Southend United 4-1 at home, but they face a difficult trip down to the nation’s capital as they’ve lost four of their last five on their travels.
Defeats at AFC Wimbledon, Northampton Town, Rochdale and Bradford City form a large part of a disappointing away record that stands at 2-0-4 7/8, and they could have their work cut out against Charlton as they’ve kept just one clean sheet from their last 15 on the road in League One.
In addition, Doncaster have failed to score in three of their last five away matches too, and this could well be their stumbling block again at The Valley this Saturday.
