Antwerp currently occupy third place in the Belgian top flight but are level on points with their hosts, Club Brugge, as they make their way to Brugge for this Sunday afternoon encounter. The visitors have produced mixed results in recent weeks as they’ve suffered defeats to Sint-Truiden and Waasland-Beveren but have countered with wins over Oostende and Cercle Brugge.
Switching to away form though, Antwerp have won four of their last five on the road with wins at Eupen, Waasland-Beveren, Standard Liege and Cercle Brugge amidst an overall away record of 6-2-1 11/4 and they possess goalscoring midfielder Haroun (5 goals) along with forwards Refaelov and Owusu (6 goals apiece) up front.
Antwerp have failed to score just twice in their 9 away matches to date, so they’ll no doubt be confident they can find the back of the net against an out-of-sorts Club Brugge outfit on Sunday afternoon.
