Club Brugge Prediction – Can Club Brugge avoid defeat?
Last week’s 1st leg in Austria against LASK Linz probably went better than Club Brugge might have expected as the Belgian club secured what could prove to be a vital 1-0 lead which they’ll now look to protect in this 2nd leg at their Jan Breydelstadion.
That important victory in Austria extended Club Brugge’s unbeaten run in all competitions to 10 matches overall, and not only includes a 4-3 aggregate win over Ukraine outfit, Dynamo Kiev, but also domestic wins in the Belgian First Division A with victories against Waasland-Beveren, Sint-Truiden and Oostende.
Club Brugge will therefore be in confident mood ahead of this return leg as they look to close in on a place in the upcoming group stage of the Champions League, and with 4 wins out of their last 5 matches at home, this could well be the case.

LASK Linz Prediction – Can LASK Linz produce fight back?
The 1-0 defeat in last week’s 1st leg at their Raiffeisen Arena was LASK Linz’s first defeat in 10 matches overall in all competitions, but the timing couldn’t have been worse as they now have only 90 minutes in which to turn things around in Brugge in order to progress through to the financially lucrative group stage of the Champions League.
LASK entered this season’s Champions League at the 3rd qualifying round stage where they eased past Swiss outfit, Basel, with a 5-2 aggregate win which consisted of a 2-1 win away in the 1st leg and then a 3-1 win in the return leg on home turf.
Although LASK look to have their work cut out here against a strong Club Brugge unit, the visitors will no doubt look to their recent results on the road which have seen the Austrian side collect 6 wins from their last 6 away matches in all competitions.
This impressive winning sequence includes domestic Bundesliga wins at Austria Vienna, Admira and Rapid Vienna, but their recent exploits on their travels on the domestic stage will no doubt be tested to the limit by Club Brugge in this crucial 2nd leg.
