Salzburg on the other hand, come into this round of 16 tie in the Europa League in positive spirits as they’ve now put together an amazing 43-match unbeaten run in all competitions (including club friendlies), so they’ll fancy their chances of getting a result in Brugge on Thursday night.
The Austrian club fairly breezed through the group stages of this competition, recording a 100% winning record across all six matches which included home and away wins over Celtic, RB Leipzig and Rosenborg which is no mean feat at this level.
The visitors have suffered just two defeats in their last 13 away matches in the Europa League which were defeats at Lazio and Marseille, but they head inot this first leg having won their last three away matches on the trot, scoring a total of 10 goals and conceding 5 in reply.
Salzburg also possess dangerous striker Dabour who was top scorer during the group stages and has bagged 9 goals to date, along with Prevljak (9 goals), Minamino and Wolf (4 goals apiece).
