Tijuana started the new campaign in promising fashion though as they collected all three points with an opening day 3-1 home win against Atlas, but they’ve since found things hard going in recent times.
A heavy 4-0 defeat away at America further compounded a five-match winless run on the road towards the end of last season’s campaign while the bigger picture also paints a grim picture for the visitors as Tijuana have picked up just two wins out of their last 13 matches away from home in the Liga MX.
