In addition, Corinthians still remain unbeaten omg home soil with a solid looking record of 5-3-0 10/3 which includes 5 clean sheets from their eight matches played to date, while forward, Romero (6 goals) will be looking to add to his goalscoring tally here.
Onto Atletico PR and the visitors occupy third from bottom in the Brazilian top flight having gained just three league wins all season so far; incidentally, all three wins were registered at their Estadio Joaquin America Guimaraes ground, while results away from home have been poor.
An away record of 0-3-5 2/10 tells its own story and includes four defeats on the trot on their travels prior to this trip with losses incurred at America Mineiro, Sport Recife, Botafogo and Cruzeiro respectively.
A rather toothless looking attack has failed to score in 6 of their 8 away matches to date, and it’s hard to see how they’ll contain a solid Corinthians outfit in their own backyard this evening.
