Costa Rica Preview – Can Costa Rica get early jump?
The other match in Group C on Monday evening sees Costa Rica up against minnows, Guadeloupe, with Costa Rica looking to get off to a winning start as they seek an early lead over their predicted closest rivals in the group, Jamaica.

Victories over Bahamas 2-0 and a penalty shoot-out win against Guatemala have given Guadeloupe entry into the finals of the Gold Cup but they face a tough group comprising of the likes of Jamaica and Monday’s opponents, Costa Rica.
Guadeloupe will be keen to produce a better showing in this group-opener having lost each of their previous five Gold Cup matches on the trot with losses incurred against Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Canada and USA.
