Dagenham & Redbridge play host to high-flying Wrexham as the betting tips continue in the non-league top flight at the Chigwell Construction Stadium with the hosts looking to avoid a fifth straight defeat.
The hosts have lost their last four league matches on the trot with defeats to Eastleigh, Solihull Moors, Ebbsfleet United and Gateshead which has left The Daggers in the bottom four of the National League ahead of this weekend’s action.
Dagenham have registered just one win at home so far this season amidst an overall record of 1-3-3 7/10 which was a 1-0 win over bottom club, Braintree Town, but although they also held league leaders Salford City and Chesterfield to draws, they promptly lost 3-1 to Ebbsfleet United last time out on home turf.
Wrexham make their way down to Essex for Saturday afternoon’s clash with Dagenham & Redbridge looking to register a third win on the trot following back-to-back 1-0 home wins over Barnet and Havant & Waterlooville.
The Dragons currently occupy fourth place and trail Salford City by just two points, so all three points on Saturday could see them making claims for top spot in the National League. The visitors possess a reasonable looking away record of 4-1-2 7/5 and although goals have been in short supply for the Welsh club, they possess the second best defensive record away from home in the division behind Fylde.
Wins at Dover Athletic, Maidenhead United, Eastleigh and Braintree Town should hold them in good stead against Dagenham, and indeed the visitors ran out 1-0 winners in their last visit at Dagenham back in October of last year.
