Feyenoord sit in third place in the Dutch top flight but are eight points adrift of second placed Ajax as they prepare for their trip to Den Haag on Sunday. The visitors will also be keen to bounce back with a win here as they inexplicably suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to Fortuna Sittard last time out.
This recent loss ended an impressive run of five straight wins on the trot with victories over Heracles, Groningen, PSV, VVVenlo and Emmen, an excellent sequence of results which has thrust the visitors into one of the early Europa League qualifier spots.
