This east midlands derby brings together a few associations for both clubs when Derby County take on Burton Albion at the iPro Stadium with the home side keen to bounce back from a disappointing midweek defeat.

Burton currently sit second from bottom in the English second tier and their problematic season so far hasn’t been helped by a dramatic dip in form at home where they more or less held their own last season, but this could be a long, hard struggle for Clough to keep them up this season.
Just one win from their last 10 on the road has also contributed to their poor league standing, and an away record of 1-4-4 3/14 tells its own story, where a severe lack of goals has held them back with failing to score in six of their nine away matches to date.
